What is sports therapy?

Sports therapy combines the principles of physiotherapy with those of sports exercise sciences in order to prepare the participant for training, competition or simply for work and functional activity.

The use of sports therapy is not limited to amateur and professional athletes. All injuries caused by physical activity can be treated and many patients, even the elderly, benefit from advice regarding activity and injury prevention.

What is sports massage?

Doing too much of a particular exercise fatigues muscles and can result in damage. Sports massage is a unique and specialised form of deep tissue massage which aims to improve the normal function of tissues to prevent injury or to restore the function of damaged tissues.
